"Surprise for Lady of the Sea" was selected as the February photo of the month. Committee members were impressed by the high level of digital manipulation demonstrated in this image. It was anonymously submitted by the committee chair, Sam Ritter, who abstained from voting this month.

This image is a composite of 6 photos: the glass is from a studio product shot, the lady from a portrait session, the horse from Meijer Gardens, water from Crosswinds marsh, and the "sky" is made up of water from crosswinds marsh plus a sunset over Belleville lake.
