If you think, collecting art is just for the rich, you are wrong. And if you have never heard of the Circle of Art at the Saline Picture Frame, Co - read on! Once a year, a small picture frame shop in Saline is making a big difference in our area. They get artists to donate art and then they host a wonderful art auction with food and wine in a great atmosphere of excitement and fun.
You have hundreds of pieces of art to choose from. Some will sell for as low as $10, many will sell way below their value for under $50, yet everyone wins! The artists who donate feel good, the buyers of art feel good and those whom you feed with your purchase feel even better. And... it's all tax-deductible - wow! The auction is an all day event on May 18. Mark your calendar. This is not so much a "group event" as it is a "go on your own". I have participated for the last three years and plan on being there again. Hope to see you around!
